EQ Studio support

Restore your default media apps.

EQ Studio 1.0 could incorrectly become the default app for some audio or video files. This is fixed in EQ Studio 2.0. We’re sorry if an earlier release changed your setup.

Choose the app for one file type.

  1. In Finder, select a file such as an MP3, WAV, MP4, or MOV.
  2. Choose File → Get Info, or press Command-I.
  3. Expand Open with and choose the app you prefer.
  4. Click Change All…, then confirm.
  5. Repeat for each file type whose default app you want to restore.

EQ Studio 2.0 registers only as an alternative editor and does not change these choices. If you need help, email [email protected].
